Economy and Jobs

Getting America back to work is job #1. To fuel economic growth and create jobs in the private sector, the federal government must remove barriers to commerce and create an economic climate that encourages investment, inspires innovation, facilitates commerce, and opens up new markets to make the United States more competitive in the global environment. As your representative, Gineen will work to:

  • Identify and eliminate unnecessary and burdensome federal regulations
  • Reduce the corporate tax rate
  • Develop free trade agreements

Fiscal Responsibility

Our country is facing a $15 trillion debt and a $1.1 trillion deficit. To restore fiscal responsibility, Congress must streamline processes, reduce the bureaucratic red tape, make meaningful reductions in government spending, and balance the federal budget. As your representative, Gineen will use her experience in the executive branch to:

  • Reform the budgeting process for federal agencies
  • Reduce government spending
  • Support a Balanced Budget Amendment
  • Increase transparencies for every taxpayer dollar spent

Healthcare

ObamaCare was created hastily and irresponsibly. As a result, it’s a poorly constructed law that places unnecessary burdens on taxpayers, small businesses, and private sector job creators. Gineen is committed to repealing ObamaCare and improving our country’s health care system by creating consumer-driven solutions that:

  • Lowers costs, provides more choices, and reduces fraud
  • Cover patients with pre-existing conditions
  • Allows consumers to purchase insurance across state lines

National Security

One of the most important roles the federal government defined by our Constitution is to “provide for the common defense” of the people and protect our homeland. The United States faces new threats in the 21st Century. To maintain our military superiority and a strong national defense that puts our country first and protects future prosperity, it’s imperative we:

  • Secure all of our ports, borders, and points of entry
  • Equip our military with the latest technology
  • Develop strategic partnerships with emerging powers and honor our obligations to support and protect our allies around the world

Israel

Israel is our strongest democratic ally in the Middle East. There are ongoing global conflicts that pose grave threats of terrorism to the State of Israel—both biological and nuclear. Supporting Israel has been one of the tenets of our nation’s foreign policy and it’s crucial we:

  • Continue to strengthen our strategic alliance with Israel by showing support of Israel’s sovereignty
  • Assist in protecting Jerusalem as the undivided capital of the Jewish state
  • Support Israel’s position on post-1967 borders
